The Science & Health Department at DIS is looking for a Course Assistant for the course Human Health and Disease: A Clinical Approach.
This course is taken by third year undergraduate American University students who would like to attend medical school once receiving their bachelors. In the course they learn about the most important human diseases, their diagnosis and treatment, and the clinical working methods of physicians. One of the main goals of the program is for students to gain a perspective of the role of the physician.
The class is taught by two doctors, who are both specialists from Copenhagen area hospitals. The course takes place at DIS Copenhagen (with some sessions taking place at hospitals in the greater Copenhagen area). Classes occur twice a week, either every Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday from 15.30-17.30.
